John XXIII Conference Center

John XXIII Conference Center

The John XXIII Conference Center building was constructed from October 1, 1999, and completed on September 4, 2001, to facilitate academic conferences and seminars. The center was named the John XXIII Conference Center in honor of Pope John XXIII for his wisdom in leading to the Second Vatican Council, which resulted in significant changes to the Roman Catholic Church.

The architecture of the conference center was inspired by a building at the renowned Institute of Dermatology and Aging in Romania and internationally.

The interior of the conference center is adorned with beautiful acrylic paintings depicting important events from the reigns of King Naresuan the Great and King Taksin the Great, Thai symbols, and scenes from Thai literature such as Sang Thong, Lilit Phra Lo, Khun Chang Khun Phaen, and Ramakien.
